We will protect the privacy of our users.

If you are a user with general public and anonymous access, the Colorado Capitol Watch website does not store or capture personal information, but merely logs the user's IP address that is automatically recognized by the web server. We do not use cookies for collecting user information.

Information from the registration necessary for setting up your Preferences to track and analyze legislator votes will remain confidential with Colorado Capitol Watch. Free registration information is limited to your name, email, and zip code. Subscription members will provide additional information. None of this personal registration and subscription information will be made available or sold to any other entity.

We may on occasion conduct surveys and polls. It will be our users' choice to participate in these surveys and polls. The aggregate of this information may be reported, but individual input will remain confidential to Colorado Capitol Watch.com.

We may count the number of times users click on bills or legislators to determine volume that may be of interest to our users. We may count the number of times users click on issues to determine volume that may be of interest to our users. These "counts" will be used only in the aggregate and not by individual user.

We may have user-created text and voice comment on bills, legislators, and issues. These user-initiated comments may be selected or de-selected based on their general interest and appropriateness related to content. No uncivil content, including foul language, will be accepted.
